Children’s Ministries

During Services:

Opportunities abound for ministry to children on Sunday morning. From nursery and toddlers to grade school, we desire to assist parents by reinforcing the importance of scripture memory and an understanding of the authority of God’s Word.

Warriors for Christ:

This is an Awana-style program that places emphasis on the memorization of Scripture in an environment of encouragement and fun. It all happens on Wednesday nights at 7:00 on a traditional track.

Community Outreach

Convalescent Ministry:

Bringing the love of Christ to those who are shut in. A ministry of encouragement as people go two by two just to share, pray with and show the love of Christ.

Helps Ministry:

For both inside and outside of the body, an opportunity to use your gifts to help others. Helping the elderly with car maintenance or yard maintenance, helping people move or providing meals are just some of the needs in view.

Most Excellent Way:

This is a loving group of men and women affected directly or indirectly by drugs, alcohol or other life-dominating sin.  We utilize biblical principles to overcome the guilt, frustration, hopelessness, fear and shame associated with addictive behavior, remembering the admonition of the Scriptures.  We believe a person can become totally free from addiction and compulsive behavior only by the power of the indwelling Spirit of Christ Jesus.  We meet each monday evening at 7 pm.

Fellowship

Ladies to Ladies Fellowship

The Ladies to Ladies Fellowship group are truly a gift of God to our body. They support one another and the body through service in many ways. They often are the hands that make events happen!

Youth

Calvary Youth meets on Wednesday nights during the sevice and is dedicated to confronting the problems youths face. It is our desire to clearly teach the Word and build godly relationships that will last.

Women’s Ministry

Women have various opportunities for fellowship. Two Bible studies meet weekly during a traditional track—one on Wednesday mornings and one on Thursday evenings. There is the annual Christmas Tea and the Ladies’ Great Escape, not to mention the Ladies’ Retreat each year!

Men’s Ministry

We gather each month for breakfast and a time of devotion on the second Saturday at 8 am.  We also do field trips!  This gives men the opportunity to meet each other and discuss the issues of the day and our lives.  We want to be the “Men of Issachar”, to know the times and what we ought to do!

Facilities Maintenance

We believe that there are servant opportunities for all. We clean our portion of the building ourselves, providing a place for those who have the desire to serve in a practical way. It also frees funds for greater missions outreach.
